# I'd say NSFW
but that would be moot really, these circumstances do not typically occur in the typical workplace environment typically
(, Mon 9 Feb 2009, 23:49, archived)
# depends on the work really..
I think this is justthe thing for a porn studio..

(, Mon 9 Feb 2009, 23:52, archived)

:)

(, Mon 9 Feb 2009, 23:52, archived)
# I think b3ta is one of the few places on the web where someone will guess the cliffs' location in this picture.
(, Mon 9 Feb 2009, 23:53, archived)

counts as "petty terrorism", doesn't it?
(, Mon 9 Feb 2009, 23:56, archived)
# They're throwing themselves off.
I'm in a bad mood and therefore pedantic.
(, Mon 9 Feb 2009, 23:58, archived)
# I think they must have had help
They're missing quite a bit of their legs.
(, Mon 9 Feb 2009, 23:59, archived)

Maybe they've been drinking.

Y'know, Legless. *Gets coat*

# They're SUICIDE BUMMERS
It's a pun or play on words.
(, Tue 10 Feb 2009, 0:05, archived)
# Eh? I know. That's why I said they're throwing themselves off.
As in, didn't get help, perhaps from potential "petty terrorists". Which is a reply, or response to a prior statement or question.
(, Tue 10 Feb 2009, 0:07, archived)
# That was meant to be in reply to In Vino Veritas.
Sorry.
(, Tue 10 Feb 2009, 0:18, archived)
# Oh, no worries.

My day would be truly terrorised.

# This is a TRUE FAX*
*did I use it right?
(, Mon 9 Feb 2009, 23:59, archived)

Anyway, sup elingphunt? Why the pedantry-inducing bad mood?

# Boredom. I'm sick of waiting for documents. Complete frustration that I have to sit about, waiting for other people to get on with paperwork.
I can leave to Korea NOW, and have been able to for weeks, but it's just getting on my nerves tonight. I dislike having 'kall to do.

What's the deal with you? No Top B (pfffft)
(, Tue 10 Feb 2009, 0:04, archived)
# I always wanted to go to Korea, in a prolonged sense, though I suspect I'll never go now due to the enjoyment being sucked out of everything.
Had or have a penpal type bloke in Daegu who I haven't spoken to in absolutely ageeess.
Where abouts you headed?
(, Tue 10 Feb 2009, 0:08, archived)
# Incheon for a year.
I'll be staying in Seoul for a week beforehand to get a basic feel of the language. I've wanted to live abroad for a while, particularly the Far East, so can't wait.

:)
(, Tue 10 Feb 2009, 0:10, archived)
# That's going to be mental fun.
The only thing I know about Korean is they have about seven different ways to say everything, based on how respectful you want to be to the person you're talking to. Have fun with that :P
(, Tue 10 Feb 2009, 0:13, archived)
# Honourifics?
I think that's true of most of the asian languages to some degree though. I think Hangeul did have different verb endings or something though, I really honestly can't remember it was a while ago.

# Chinese only has two (that I've come across so far in my 18 months of learning it)
But yeah, I imagine Japanese is like that, they seem a very deferential people.
(, Tue 10 Feb 2009, 0:20, archived)
# Ha! It's a ridiculous language, although as far as I can discern
it has set characters unlike Chinese, which makes it much easier to learn (30 different ones methinks). I have a couple of friends teaching in China and they're loving it.
(, Tue 10 Feb 2009, 0:20, archived)
# That'll be handy.
I know about 1,000 Chinese characters I reckon, and I'm nowhere near able to read a newspaper or anything.
(, Tue 10 Feb 2009, 0:23, archived)
# I always wanted to go there because Seoul from what I have seen is a fucking amazing city, just so sleek and everything.
Really nice and comparitively cheap apartments and generally not as technologically and geographically backward as London. Their underground shopping mall things are really cool as well aparantly too, even though they are basically really really cramped flea markets.

I think I can still say Fuck you (or literally "I'll kick your penis") in Hangeul.
(, Tue 10 Feb 2009, 0:14, archived)
# Yes, exactly. It's all about the new culture. Totally immersing yourself in a new life.
I'm really interested to find out the Eastern perception of the West too, first hand.

# Pfft, Top B finishes at midnight this year, what with the union being rebuilt and it instead being staged in a tent on Tocil field.
We ran an article in the Sanctuary a while ago comparing it to a student's union childcare service. Good times.

And I should be out, but I've seminar work I didn't do at the weekend, natch.
(, Tue 10 Feb 2009, 0:12, archived)
# Oh, and drinks also cost £2. That's the one thing it had going for it.
(, Tue 10 Feb 2009, 0:14, archived)
# Oh dear. I saw the TES when I was down there for a couple of weeks.
Inventive name. I'm awaiting the renaming of the buses to Mobile Transportation Vehicles or something.
(, Tue 10 Feb 2009, 0:23, archived)
# One of its nicknames is, apparently, "the sanitary towel."
I am not sure why.
(, Tue 10 Feb 2009, 0:25, archived)
# Gayshift already
?
(, Mon 9 Feb 2009, 23:56, archived)
# suicidal amputee bummers, no less.
