Davros' Grandad is coming back to London for one of his work based meetings.
He's a very gregarious chap and doesn't like being left alone at night in strange cities. He also likes beer.
In order to solve these two problems people who like Davros and Beer should congregate in a public house in London and consume alcoholic beverages with him.Venue suggestions will probably depend on where his hotel is, but somewhere reasonably central would probably be best.
Edit - Following a public consultation exercise we have concluded that the best choice of venue is The Cove, which is above the cornish pasty cafe in Covent Garden, a mere two minutes from Covent Garden station and the scene of Kaols first ever facial molestation of me.
We shall set an official start time of 7.30pm, but if you're around earlier then get the beers in.
The Cove, Covent Garden
Davros returns to London.
Going: Bazongaloid, Davros' Granddad, wanderlust, fuck shit up, Lucy Van Pelt, Captain V, thealternativefact, Madam Marlboro, Devil_In_Tights, The Empress, wellgroomedwookiee, Cawl (12 people).
Central would be good. What about the Cove again?
Not sure where I'm staying yet but the meeting is near Westminster.

I think I might be at a show that night... If I'm not, I'll be there. Just need to consult with the Mighty All Knowing One.
EDIT: The Cove is in Covent Garden.

I will do my very best to be in London for this one! I think a small one would be good to start me off (oo-er missus!)

I have signed up! If need be I'll get a last(ish) minute afternoon/day off work to allow me to eat and change before jumping on a train.
What sort of time is pub occupation likely to commence?

you to be some kind of pervert.
I reckon pub occupation should be set for 8pm, but if people can get there earlier then so much the better. I'm unlikely to get there until about 7.30ish as I'll be busy at work that day.

I don't have a job so why don't I get there at opening, that way you'll all know which one I am. I'll be the one dribbling in the corner, probably smelling strongly of gin.

I expect I'll be there, even if I can't stay late.

I may turn up... I've got nothing much happening on Wednesday, but it kinda depends on if I'm able to borrow a car or not...

Events have conspired to shine upon me and not only do I get to london arond 5:30 (all being well) but the hotel I'm staying in is one I've stayed in before - meaning I won't waste the best part of an hour trawling the streets looking for a building that transpired to be across the road from the nearest tube station...
To be fair, it WAS dark, but I do have the directional instinct of a blind homing pigeon

I'll be there.
Be nice to me though, I'm not gonna be on top form.

I'll be wearing a brown jumper so keep an eye out for me.
I'm quite concerned that I'll recognise nobody who has a photo in their profile and will have to ask everybody in London if they are from b3ta!
