This is a normal post A contact on Facebook of mine, Craig Jones, discussed this photograph yesterday
it's baited wildlife. That shot is completely fabricated.

E: And the wildlife page he mentioned this on have removed the photograph and the link, so I can't give his explanation as to how (the photographer used a bucket beside a river) and how this actually can harm wildlife, potentially causing injury. The RSPCA campaign against baited wildlife photography. So you'll just have to take my word on it :)

This is a normal post might be a different photographer
quick google of kingfisher baited gets a Daily Mail article

Edit - Mail has an article on this guy, seems he built them a nesting hole, but they're diving in to a lake

This is a normal post Ah, it's very annoying the post Craig commented on has been removed
he's a professional wildlife photographer and extremely into respect and ethics when it comes to wildlife, and he gave a detailed explanation as to how and why that photograph was uncool. He's probably crawling about in mud and shit as we speak, so it's going to be pointless messaging him regarding the subject

This is a normal post Hmmm. Not cool.
I wasn't actually that impressed with the photo either. I much prefer the one of it exploding back out of the water, but even that one seems to have muddy colours to me too.
