This is a normal post I'd argue that the
"Just because we don't understand it doesn't mean it doesn't work" argument (#1) is actually less ridiculous than the "My brother/sister etc. has *insert problem here* and homeopathy worked for them" (#2).

The reason being that #1 is logically sound, but irrelevant. That argument is technically right: homeopathy ISN'T bullshit because of their flawed understanding... it's bullshit because studies have shown that it doesn't work.

#2, however, is just hearsay, with no logical postulates whatsoever.

it DOES work for those fools who believe on it.
and it can't be refuted by science until science can explain the placebo effect workings.
