we live in veneer times where most people who see a clip or a politicians soundbite only see that clip and don;'t fact check it or whatever. s long as they can wing it through three minutes of questions the newscycle will cover their tracks with it's cons
tant need to move on to newer news.
i think it's weirdly easier for politicans to lie nowadays even though it's also easier to catch them out if they do. this cunt for example assumes that no one he actually thinks will vote for him will probably see this. it'll be shared on facebook and cos of the algorithms for only showing you shit you already like only anti-zacs with see it anyway.
i think the tories understand this new situation best. as long as the general tone is right lots pf people don't even pay attention to the words.
