They seriously need to bring back Kinghtmare now we have VR.
Instead of the "walk forward 5 paces" back seat driving crap put the whole team in the game and give each one skills and powers.

Now we have VR?
We had VR back in the days of Knightmare, everybody was wanking over how it was going to be the zenith of gaming until people realised how limited, gimmicky and shit it was, then forgot all about it for 20-odd years.
Exactly the same thing is going to happen with the current resurgence in 'future gaming tech now' shite.
In order to sustain an acceptable, vomit-free framerate, whilst maintaining the graphical fidelity that teenagers obsess so much over these days requires prohibitively expensive computer equipment that only the most enthusiastic of gamers will be prepared to shell out for.
Due to this, the big games developers are going to offer little to no VR-exclusive content, instead making shitty half-hearted ports of existing games or shoehorning 'VR Mode' into their standard releases. Eventually it'll fall by the wayside and everyone will wonder why the hell they made such a massive deal about it. Exactly like 3D TV.
That's not to say VR is useless. I can imagine it being an absolute godsend in Medical/Military/etc markets, and I'm sure the porn industry will keep it afloat for a fair old while. But it's a dead donkey for gaming.
