This is a normal post I'm waiting to see how long it takes for the two new Starbucks to close in Italy
Same cultural issues.

This is a normal post I'm sure tphey'll thrive and expand.
In the late nineties France had greatest profit as yield of any territory outside of the USA for Mcdonalds and they continue to expand there. This in spite of people saying it was a brand culturally incompatible with France.

This is a normal post amazing growth in the 1990s if this is true:
"By the end of 1997 its restaurant total had surpassed 23,000 — by that time McDonald's was opening 2,000 new restaurants each year — an average of one every five hours."

This is a normal post You're probably right but personally, fingers crossed it doesn't
Horrible beige brand that can't make a decent cup of tea for shit. Also who doesn't like to see a global multi-national fuck up.
Edit: Coffee is also price controlled in Italy when you're ordering at the counter, that's not something Starbucks has had to contend with anywhere else no?

This is a normal post You forgot to call me stupid.
I actually quite like Starbucks. The coffee is nice. But yeah, it's a boring, homogeneous brand. Just like Mcdonalds. That's why it's so successful.

This is a normal post They would do better targeting other countries that don't wash their hands in between taking a shit and food preparation.
