Technically he is not in illegal detention, he has chosen that route. He can probably argue his way out of anything but Douglas Murray has a fair point, Wikileaks damaged dilpomatic work between countries by releasing documents which drove wedges between countries and organisations because he could and not because by doing so it would help. If he believed that this was the right thing to do then he doesn't understand diplomacy.
