I don't know about that
but a more straight forward issue is that for apps like this append the video id on the end of the url "/?id=y4dday4ddA" the gc checker will reference each one as a new link. So it won't register as a gc, unless someone posts exactly the same video. Similar principle if a video occur on two separate sites (or youtube accounts).
Secondly, searching for the url, it appears that most people who posted it yesterday, (as well as using separate videos) referenced it in replies, and not as new links. The checker doesn't look at replies, so you'll not get a warning.
