They would be quite happy as they have been correctly identified.
Or are all the Indians racist?
or is it that the Pakistanis are racist about the Indians.
Oh I don't know, just read these jokes by pakis about pakis:

It's like black people calling each other niggers. It's fine for them, but not for others.
( , Sat 23 May 2009, 8:59, Reply)

you do realise that there is a lot of animosity between India and Pakistan, right?
I think it's generally accepted that you wouldn't call a pakistani a 'paki'.

outside the uk is the rest of the world where things like being PC dont really exist.

I'm all for being straight up and frank and honest. I don't think we should dance around saying "I'm white, you're black", or give in to the PC brigade...But at the same time, sometimes, with some terms, it's best just to avoid them...For instance, as a white guy, do i REALLY have to fight for the right to use the 'n' word? Hardly seems worth fighting for.
Question - when the BNP go door to door, what do they do if a black/asian/non-white person answers the door? Do they run away? Say they got the wrong house? Throw bricks?

But then again I'm living the BNP's worst nightmare - being in a very tiny minority surrounded by their enemies.

Is that most people who get called 'pakis' are actually Indian or Bangladeshi. It just shows ignorance.
( , Sat 23 May 2009, 10:09, Reply)

if you meet a brown man then be sure to know the correct salutation.
( , Sat 23 May 2009, 10:21, Reply)

EVERYONE 'paki' - I have heard this from people of West African, Greek, and anecdotally St. Kittitian.
I can't believe these people are so thick, and I would happily surrender this country to our gypsy overlords, rather than have ignorant pricks like that rule the country.

I'm 1/4 Indian myself. I've been called a Paki before and it wasn't nice. Especially considering I don't even look it. I've got slightly olive skin, I'd say I look more Mexican or Spanish...or if you're a lady, I'm Italian.
Ever wonder if it's just white people? I mean, Bangladesh and China border each other. You don't hear about many race issues between them. When racism is mentioned, it's normally White vs. *
( , Sat 23 May 2009, 10:46, Reply)

You never hear of racism between them?
Two possible reasons, you don't understand either language, or you have no particular interest in that region and those are two perfectly reasonable reasons.
Bangladesh express solidarity with Tibet, which irks the Chinese a little, on good day. But you are absolutely right, they don't call Bangladeshi people names. If you had said Pakistan, there is a lot more animosity between the two nuclear powers... ha - and the Japanese... those wounds run deep.
But you are right. They pretty much call all foreigners 'foreigners' whilst they are being racist.
Actually, they are probably most racist about people from within China... assuming you are a thief, un-trustworthy individual or a prostitute depending on where you are from.

as a white man calling a black man a nigger. Yes, you're right maybe common cultural races can use the paki phrase as an embrace, but you can't hold that as an arguement that denies the word as being anti-pakistani.
I came across a perfect example of this the other day when i denied someone a drink in work the other day for being to drunk. His reply was 'why are you treating me like a fucking paki?'
