The sum total of human effect on Earth's ecosystem
is infinitesimal compared to the Sun, and negligable to just about any other force or influence, from within or without the planet. To think we as a species have done anything more than create a minor ripple in a very large pond is the height of arrogance. A trait which, I'm sad to say, seems endemic to Humanity.
