Underated is right. Somehow he's been lumped in with Bucks Fizz and Shakin' Stevens.

Kings of the Wild Frontier has some massively good tunes on it, and one or two cheesy pop crappy ones.

This is a normal post Kings of the Wild Frontier was the first album I bought
I agree they were underrated. They were pretty innovative seeing as they were sliding off the end of punk. Two drummers was awesome and the Ant Rap while embarrassing now was one of the first raps to get into the charts. Adam Ant was a salesman and a frontman and they don't belong down at the level of Fucks Bizz or Shakin' Welshie
