This is a normal post PETA members
should be tested on instead of animals

This is a normal post We should start a campaign
where we try to convince PETA members that organic food is exploiting the animals that provide compost and the only ethical way of eating is vegan with plants grown with chemical based plant food.

It will be hilarious seeing the war between the `organics` and the `animal welfare`.

This is a normal post You joke but that is how the human race will go...
...caught in the crossfire of two nutty sides of the same nutty coin.

This is a normal post Quite
PETA's attention seeking is beside the point. I can understand some shitsite stealing his photo, but for legitimate publications to withhold payments...

This is a normal post Well, they have several hundred thousands of dollars of legal fees to help them remember now.

This is a normal post PETA are cunts and so is that monkey.
However the guy is acting like a wanker by crying that his life is over because he should be making a living from this photo. Bollocks, go fucking get a job or take more photographs or something, stop whining like a little pussy. I despise things like stealing photographs / creative works but it happens and unfortunately you have to carry on and do something else until you can wrap this one up or something or someone finally does something about it globally.

This is a normal post Sounds like he's used most of his money in legal fees rather than expecting to live off the proceeds of this photo.

This is a normal post What a waste of money
What else was he expecting?

"The proceeds from these photographs should have me comfortable now, and I’m not"

This is a normal post I prefer him to receive it. I say boo to the a-holes who couldn't toss him a few bucks for his intellectual property
And if you don't like it, you can suck my black macaque

This is a normal post That's not my point. He should be paid and rightly so,
However as it currently stands the world does not work in favour of creators of this ilk. Until it does, it's probably best not to spend your last £500 on something fruitless

This is a normal post It is simply an amazing story.
The lengths to which Techdirt and Wikipedia went to fight it (USPTO, US Dist. Ct. in SF, the 9th Circuit) when they could have waved a release, $5,000 and a case of beer in front of him and been done with it.
