Same here.
Spent £20 or so on an electric trimmer years ago and never looked back. I hate shaving and if for some reason - let's take weekend drag as a hypothetical example - I do need to shave, there's a pack of disposables under the bathroom sink.

I tried using disposable razors...
...then I realised that I quite liked having a face.

Pah!
Aloe vera pads? Who needs that?
Get yourself any double edged "safety razor"
shouldn't cost more that about £20 for a stainless steel one that will last a lifetime.
Then get yourself some blades.
I use feather because I fell for the "Worlds sharpest blade" sales pitch.
www.shaving-shack.com/10-feather-hi-stainless-double-edged-razor-blades.html
24p each and the best shave you've ever had.
If you're worried about cutting yourself, just don't do it wrong.
They're good enough for my head and "gentlemans area"

Never heard it referred to as
The Snooker Room.
Definitely going to use that one again.

I'm rubbish at shaving
I once managed to cut my nose while shaving - like, the side of it... and also, I'm being totally honest btw, just below my eye, on my sexy high cheekbone!
...also, my skin is as sensitive as an outraged fundamentalist Muslim!

Sharp blade, soap not foam, shave with the grain not against it.
All you need to know.

I don't subscribe to the "shave with the grain" mandate
For the true baby's bum effect, you have to shave against the grain, but reaaaally carefully.

you dont need to spend a lot. i have a *mint* 1951 gillette superspeed that cost £12, i got 100 razor blades off amazon for £8. get around a week out of a blade, so thats almost 2 years of shaves for £20!!! and its a much better shave and a more rewarding experience.
in your face, disposables!
