and the only Star Trek that most people, including me, ever watched was because the characters were really fucking strong. They were unsubtle and cartoonish which is fine: the important thing is that you knew their personalities and motivations.

I've watched every episode of The Walking Dead and I don't have a clue who Sasha is. Couldn't name a scene she was in. Contrast that with Michonne.

Still, they've hired Clem Fandango.

This is a normal post I've watched every episode of Game of Thrones and don't know the names of any character
other than Jon Snow. There's short bloke, blonde lady with the dragons, Robson or Jerome, queen lady, bloke who bangs his sister and fat bloke. Not totally sure what the story is either.

I finished the last one a few hours ago and I'd be lost if I hadn't already seen the show. I always struggle with characters' names in books at the best of times but when you have as many as there are in GoT I just throw my hands in the air.

*Spoilers* Kevin Lannister seems to be the only sane person in the whole series and Cersei is twice as insufferable but not nearly as much as Stannis's wife.
