This is a question Bad Management

Tb2571989 says Bad Management isn't just a great name for a heavy metal band - what kind of rubbish work practices have you had to put up with?

stick with it
Management isn't a one way street. You can press their buttons as much as they press yours. You can't run away every time you've got a dick for a supervisor. It's not as if this guy is some sort of unique specimen that you can easily avoid for the rest of your life.

Don't necessarily run away
But when I said nip it in the bud, I mean get them to set the ground rules good and early. If they don't want to sort out who reports to who, and give some airy fairy "Your my little puppet now" You're going to be the bottom in the relationship. No problem with that but its customary to buy you a drink and give you a snog first

Being honest my 2nd day wasn't so bad.
I arrived early and despite a minor lecture about 'not turning up early', i was more or less left on my own.

I also got told by Manager 1 - That he'd been told i'd done a good job. I took that opportunity to explain that yesterday may have been a 'crossed wires scenario' and he told me not to worry.

He also let me finish twenty minutes early, which was a nice suprise.

So for now, i'm gonna stick with it. Maybe he was just having a bad day?
