DrinkingGoing to my first over night teenage party. The house was cosy, the drink was plentiful, the girls were beautiful (the one I fancied tried to get off with me, despite having a boyfriend, and I pushed her away, an act of mental fortitude that surely proves this to be a beautiful event), and the company was excellent. We all fell asleep at about 3am, I with the biggest grin on my face, despite having not pulled or drank myself into oblivion.
Bliss doesn't even cover it. On top of that, the next day I wasn't hung over, and I got my first blowjob too!
What also comes close is the first time I heard the 04 remix of Enjoy The Silence by Depeche, which was at the end of an arduous 6 hour session getting a scripted sequence to work in a Half Life map I was making. As the song finished, I began playing the map, and it worked. Was taken to hospital for 34 stitches after face broke from smiling too hard.
Which reminds me, loading up Half Life 2 for the first time, on Christmas morning, with my family all playing with their new stuff as well. They went silent when the G Man started talking, which was so cool...
