I worked in Japan for a few years and had my own rented flat there. I came back from the UK once and the power wasn't working, so the next day I got the office to help sort it out for me and they sent round some people from the building management, the power company and a translator to help fix the problem. The problem turned out to be me not acting on incomprehensible demands for payment of overdue bills in stupid funny writing.
