This is a question Have you ever seen a dead body?

How did you feel?
Upset? Traumatised? Relieved? Like poking it with a stick?

Absolutely off-topic
I finally have a job interview with a large company that appears to be quite stable. Wish me luck...

EDIT: Thanks, one and all!

I may soon have a dead body to dispose of.

Recently my girlfriend's Jack Russell terrier has been digging in the yard after moles, leaving craters everywhere. Now, I know that this is what they were bred to do- but after nearly breaking my ankle in one of these chuckholes I limped into the house where the Lunatic Artist sat with the little turd-burglar on her lap. I looked the dog in the eye and roared, "Dig one more hole out there and I'm gonna fill it with you, and the only marker you'll have is your nub tail sticking out!"

The dog looked terrified, but the girlfriend laughed...

If you get the job
will you still be able to post amusing stories and/or photos to make us jealous?

Thanks all!
It's still not finalized, as I have a manager I need to talk to who was in a meeting at the time- but it sure looks to be a go. I'll finally be doing actual honest-to-god machine design, with bearings and cogs and all that stuff that I've wanted to do since I was a kid! And the guy I will be working with is a goofy hands-on sort like me, married to an artist, a DIY enthusiast with a huge woodworking shop who also likes to work on cars- in other words, we got along famously.

And yes, if I get the job I'll still be posting here- maybe not as often as I have been, but I'll be around!

Oh, and the other bit of woo for the day: my girlfriend's brother the artist has managed to purchase an old run-down shack that I found for him for his next installation. Keep an eye on this space for news and photos- he's very psyched up for it! He guesses he'll be here in April to take the building apart, so at that time I may sprinkle a few cool photos around...

This is the best day I've had in weeks!

Good luck!

(Despite my idiocy), I've just got a new job too!

So if I can get one....ANYBODY can get one!

*wafts positive vipes in TRL's direction*
