OK - here's the thing...Papa is right...Also...
English football is mired in a total trench of money-oriented bollocks. Not one player played as part of a cohesive unit - they are all too bothered about putting a few million on their own personal values. There is absolutely zero passion for the national game and why should there be? Being an England player is cock-diddley-all to their personal salaries. It is all a pretense.
This is a FULL blessing and nuts to the disguise. We did not deserve to get through...simple as that. We were consistantly poor and deserve what we got.
At least Scotland play as a team - watching their effort made me even more disgusted in my country's piss-poor efforts. Yes, McLaren is a gobshite, second rate manager but he can only deal with what he's got - i.e a bunch of lacklustre cock-itches.
Who can we hire? There is nobody...becuase nobody can control the money merry-go-round that is the English game.
