This is a question Driven to Madness

Captain Placid asks: What annoying things do significant others, workmates and other people in general do that drive you up the wall? Do you want to kill your other half over their obsessive fridge magnet collection? Driven to distraction over your manager's continued use of Comic Sans (The Font of Champions)? Tell us.

In Waitrose yesterday.
There was a mum, daughter and gran, who where proper lower class vermin. Dirtying up the place with their horrible accents, shouting at the kid etc. Appalling.

Morningside Waitrose in Edinburgh is terrible for this
It used to be a Safeways, and far too many of the lower orders have failed to realise that it is not their sort of shop any more. For heaven's sake, there is a Farmfoods at Tollcross, just a mile away. Why can't these people show a little sensitivity.

I believe there is a chain of establishments called Fultons in the north of england, I assume it caters for the natives in the pebble dashed huts around there, they usually seem to attract the type of characters you describe, why not suggest to your MP to investigate some sort of mass transport to one of these purveyors, they might be inclined to stay up there. Who knows, they may even have relatives amonst the tribes on the local authority reservations.

It's appalling that people like that are allowed to earn their own money, or vote.
Is this Britain we live in or communist Russia?

Oh, it's fine that they should earn a living
They just should have the decency to know their station and not go where they are not wanted. Waitrose, Covent Garden, Gloucestershire, that sort of place.

I for one believe they should all be confined to shanty towns which are surrounded by big walls and counted as separate countries.

The Isle of Wight's just sitting there
doing nothing.

I believe the Emperor Hadrian commissioned the construction just such an edifice
But it demarcates an area rather larger than a county. Plenty of room for them to roam, get fresh air & exercise, etc.
