There's another?
I thought that I was the only one to experience this! The edges of 10p pieces (the old ones were even worse), guitar strings, won't even touch the hologram things. Just the thought of it now is making my spine try to extract itself out of me.

I made the mistake of telling my so-called mates about this and they continue to wind me up by running their fingernails across said items, whilst I freak out like a girl. Hate hate hate it.

You are not alone
Guitar strings yes (the finer metallic ones, not the lower notes ones: you can tell I don't play) . Never had a problem with 10p pieces.

I even have problems if someone else runs their fingers over such things and makes a noise. My son does it with his holographic place mat and I have to get up and walk away with my mouth fixed in a rictus of hair raising agony. I've made my wife swear never to tell him about it as he'll only do it on purpose every day for the rest of my life.
