Me tooI was there in '94 and was a regular at Spiders on a Friday night (The Welly on Thursdays, Silhouettes on Saturday).
During my entire time in Hull I had no idea where Spiders was though. I'd get a taxi there, drink several PGGBs, dance a lot and then get a taxi home.
