Snap - The Power2nd year at University, 1991 - lovely hot summer. Carefree, fit (rather than fat as now), it was the theme tune to the summer, and the first time I rowed at Henley. Got to the last 8 in our event, the first time that a crew from our uni had qualified - beautiful days. Just hearing the opening bars makes me think of driving down Remenahm Lane, four of us in the minibus with the windows open, and sunlight coming through the trees. Almost half a life time ago...
