This is a question Bizarre habits

Sandettie Light Vessel Automatic tells us: "Until I pointed it out, my other half use to hang out the washing making sure that both pegs were the same colour. Now she goes out of her way to make sure they never match." Tell us about bizarre rituals, habits and OCD-like behaviour.

Things have to be on other things in a perpendicular arrangement.
Ornaments, furniture, confused looking pet bearded dragon, pens. They've got to be at 90- or 180-degrees to the thing they're on.

If it's not a right angle, it's a wrong angle.

I have a bearded dragon too!

They're lovely
Mine's Izzard 'cos I can't work out if it's male or female. I did see a mention that you had a beardie in unfinished busness topic and was amused/concerned to see that you're worryingly like me in that you also have unfinished Warhammer armies and write for a living. Freaky-deaky.

Perhaps...
..we are the same person.

O_o

Mine's called Kai. He is a boy, I think, but I've not tried inverting the herpes to find out.

Here's one
Of a sleeping Izzard. Her/his normal state of being.

Gah!
No link.... unless I'm being super retarded, which is not unusual.

Cute!

She/he's
A beauty. I think she. No lumpy bits under the tail. But who knows? It's hard to tell with a creature that's all spikes and scales...

Agree.
Lizards are much more interesting than cats or dogs though. Plus no shedding - bonus!

How old is Izzard?

Uhh
Not really sure. I got her from a rescue centre - same as all my pets - and she'd been abandoned. I think about three but that's only guesswork.

It's the same with Kai
His original owner got him from a rescue place and they thought he was about 1 and a half... but the vet I took him two last month thinks he is much older, maybe about 5!

And what other pets do you have? :)

(, Tue 6 Jul 2010, 12:04, closed)
i totally agree
The worst were those people at uni who plastered their bedrooms in posters all at jaunty angles, I couldn't sit in a room like that and fail to get annoyed!
(, Thu 1 Jul 2010, 13:28, closed)
This would be even better if
The bearded dragon only stood/sat/shat etc. at a 45 degree angle...
(, Thu 1 Jul 2010, 14:59, closed)
I cry shennanigans...
Surely, you mean 90°, or 270°.

180° would be parallel to the original direction, and hence not perpendicular.

Almost as silly as someone saying they did a "360° U-Turn" - That's not a U-Turn. It's a full bloody circle!
(, Thu 1 Jul 2010, 15:11, closed)
Nope
It can be in line with the desk or at 90 degrees. As long as it's matching the angles we're good.
