This is a question Hypocrisy

Overheard the other day: "I've told you before - stop swearing in front of the kids, for fuck's sake." Your tales of double standards please.

fuck
I can feel the anger burning away inside me. the majority of Scottish people are not like that. Fair enough, when it comes to supporting our country in football or rugby we can be a little over patriotic especially since they usually play shite but whats wrong with suppoting the underdog?
To be honest, when ur country has a city considered the stab capital for Europe and our levels of heart disease, cancer and obeasity are through the roof. You cant blame us for trying to big up some of the great things that happened. Besides, finding out your info from a history forum will not give u a present day view of Scotland.

^^ yes they are!
All of the Scottish people I've had the pleasure to live and work with would never, never cheer England on, at any sport, and yet most English sports fans would cheer the Scots on happily, so long as they're not playing England..

Is it to do with the third verse of God Save the Queen? (It goes on about crushing rebellious Scots, I seem to remember)
