Is that really a case of *them* lying?Because, let's face it, if you've spent any time reading some of the more fanciful claims in the adverts in the Car Tuning press, it's easy to see how the less mechanically-minded could be taken in.
Claims of ridiculous BHP without qualifying it by quoting the revs it was measured at, for example. "Spot" readings taken at the right time by an unscrupulous Dyno operator magically adding 10 BHP....
So, more a case of being taken in by certain tuning firms.
