This is a question Pathological Liars

Friz writes, "I recently busted my mate who claimed to have 'supported the Kaiser Chiefs in 2001' by gently mentioning that they weren't even called that back then."

Some people seem to lead complete fantasy lives with lies stacked on lies stacked on more lies. Tell us about the ones you've met.

BTW, if any of you want to admit to making up all your QOTW stories, now would be a good time to do it.

The guy featured in this week's question
used to say how brill a chef he was. "I made sous-chef* by age 19! Gordon Ramsay didn't make sous-chef until he was 30!"

Yes, but you work at TGI FRIDAYS. Twunt.

The sous-chef at my place
Was either about 20 when he mas made up to sous. This was at a rosary winning manor house. He was really good too.

Well...
Plenty of chefs can become skilled sous-chefs by 19, 20. A couple of friends of mine are chefs (one of which is actually a sous-chef and barely 21, the other of which is still a commis-chef and nearing thirty.), it's a question of where you work.

Still, Ramsay got the shitty end of the stick. He was working under Marco-Pierre White. God help him, even the gobby Jock was reduced to tears.
