As an aside, this week's question encourages us to "point and laugh" at bigots......which is fair enough, unreasonable people are unreasonable. Still, I seem to recall the last PM calling a woman in Scotland a bigot because she asked about the effects of immigration from Eastern Europe. Camden Council quite clearly thought Bob was a bigot because he didn't want Albanians kicking the fuck out of people in his pub (or "lesbians" telling him what to do, but let's gloss over that). It seems to me that accusations of bigotry and racism (or the threat of...Rochdale child grooming, anyone?) are used to cover up uncomfortable facts far too often.
