on a recent asthma emergency trip to A&E. I had never heard of them, and was almost pooping my pants when the doctor lady explained what would be happening. 'We can't actually see the artery, so once I've punctured the skin, I'll have to feel around for it. Is that ok?'

I looked away when she commenced her prodding and didn't feel a thing. Hard arse, me. Or, possibly, I was buzzing too hard off the nebulisers...
