Nativity PlaysEvery year the little kids at schools all over get to put on a play. Often it's christmas themed, but the key thing is that everyone gets a part, whether it's Snowflake #12 or Mary or Grendel (yes, really).
Personally I played a 'Rich Husband' who refused to buy matches from some scabby street urchin. Never did see her again...

Method acting?I was quite the little thesp in school and managed to get a good few parts over the years – I even had a singing solo once, woo! My sister however, had to wait a bit longer for her big break… Prior to the year she was finally given the main part (in Year 4 I think), she had proved her stage credentials by playing such illustrious roles as: a sheep; a bluebird; a book and my all-time personal favourite – a piece of tinsel. A.PIECE.OF.TINSEL.
