This is a question The nicest thing someone's ever done for me

In amongst all the tales of bitterness and poo, we occasionally get fluffy stories that bring a small tear to our internet-jaded eyes.

In celebration of this, what is the nicest thing someone's done for you? Whether you thoroughly deserved it or it came out of the blue, tell us of heartwarming, selfless acts by others.

Failing that, what nice things have you done for other people, whether they liked it or not?

compared to hersheys, it's like ambrosia versus cold vomit.

Interesting fact:
You can simulate the taste of Hersheys by puking into a bottle of disenfectant.

I won't argue with that.
Still, there's decent chocolate to be had here. Check out Lake Champlain chocolates sometime. As good as Godiva but without all the pretense and snobbery.

the reason
hershey bars taste so bad is because they used to be made with sour milk in the days before decent refridgerated milk transportation. But as technology improved and they began to use fresher and fresher milk they discovered that sales were in decline and people prefered the old taste so they decided to simulate the "classic" old mans pyjamas taste of sour hersheys and to this day they still use sour milk and a dash of camel piss in every bar!

Factoid!
