This is a question The nicest thing someone's ever done for me

In amongst all the tales of bitterness and poo, we occasionally get fluffy stories that bring a small tear to our internet-jaded eyes.

In celebration of this, what is the nicest thing someone's done for you? Whether you thoroughly deserved it or it came out of the blue, tell us of heartwarming, selfless acts by others.

Failing that, what nice things have you done for other people, whether they liked it or not?

*claps*
yay - TRL coming to Scotland.

*gets all excited*

RLS was born right here in Edinburgh. I can take you to see his house.

Black sausage? No such thing
Blood pudding? No such thing (Black pudding maybe?)
Tongue - you're quite right, mate. Never taste anything that's tasting you back!

We'll stick to Oatcakes, Tunnocks Caramel Wafers, and real beer. Smooth, velvety beer. Chilled, of course.

What I meant was
that anything made from blood is something I'd rather pass by. I don't know the names of the various things, but the thought of eating what is in essence a seasoned blood clot creeps me right the fuck out.

It will be at least six months before I can get there, so at least we have time to plan it...

It's luvverly
I used to work with someone who loved black pudding until he found out what it was, after which he wouldn't touch it. Seems strange to me.

Blood clots
Come now - surely you've chewed your way through a loose scab or two before now? Yum...
