Ouch!A friend was once given a biopsy by a sleep-deprived junior doctor.
They needed a sample of his colon, so inserted the long bendy jaws-on-the-end thingy, located the suspect area and... he shot through the ceiling. Doctor had forgotten to administer any anaesthetic.

The original injury was tiny.When your tibia comes out through your shin, there's not enough tissue to cover it. So they cut a chunk out of the calf muscle, rotate it over the hole, and then slice a postcard sized section of skin off the opposite thigh and graft it over the op site.
Best bit? When I curl my right toes, the hole looks a lot like a ladygarden twitching in orgasm.
