This is a question Ouch!

A friend was once given a biopsy by a sleep-deprived junior doctor.
They needed a sample of his colon, so inserted the long bendy jaws-on-the-end thingy, located the suspect area and... he shot through the ceiling. Doctor had forgotten to administer any anaesthetic.

What was your ouchiest moment?

Ouch indeed!
How did you manage to get that fixed? o_O I cut my knee open to the bone when I was about ten, six stitches in that and I still have the scar now almost twenty years later.

I was lucky
Although a bit of nerve damage (only about 50% feeling a year on) I didn't actually damage the cartilage - so just had it cleaned up, glass removed and stitched closed. It promptly went bad and smelly bits fell out, leaving a funny little hole, the bit of skin left was stretched and re-stitched and all good :) nice purple scar now about 1.5" square.

:)
