This is a question What's the hardest you've tried to get dumped?

Groovypoodle writes, "My mate once told his girlfriend that he didn't think it was working only for her to laugh and tell him he was hilarious. Saying she was 'too weird' and 'slightly violent' and that he didn't like her was equally hilarious. Ripping off her wing mirror, throwing it through the windscreen
and storming off in a huff merely generated an apology from her a week later..."

Just how hard have you had to work to get someone to take the hint and stay dumped?

ZOMG!
Ha! You had a lucky escape mate!

My ex wasn't quite as bad, but the net result was similar.

"Mutual" friends treat me like I combine the less savoury aspects of Sudam Hussian & The Yorkshire Ripper.

Her folks treat me like they discovered the man next door is on the Sex Offenders Register.

Aparantly I had been subjecting her and the kids, two of the least maladjusted girls you could hope to meet, to hideous mental torture [I didnt earn enough for her grandious pretentions] and made no effort in our relationship ["As I rob you blind to fund my handbag fetish and you have no money and I critise any aspect of your life I dont control, you're looking after the kids this weekend, I am out again to sit in the pub and slag you off for not being a real man, with my friends"]

It would also seem that my decision to leave, borne out of fears for my mental health and my ever deteriorating finances through 16 years of subservience, was clear evidence of my infidelity. I couldn't have possibly made the choice to leave without female help.

And once I had left, I was supposed to give her all my money and all of the house but never see her or the kids again. I thank God daily that her lawyer was so utterly crap that they couldnt even write letters properly and that mine was like Shark.
