Asylum-seeker training.I work for my local library, and as part of the city council's equal opportunities policy they insisted that all staff who work with the public must be put through 'asylum-seeker training'. There's something about sitting through an hour and a half of lectures treating asylum seekers as a special case just so we can go back and provide them with the same service as we provide everyone else (just like we were doing before) that I don't quite understand.
