This is a question Political Correctness Gone Mad

Freddy Woo writes: "I once worked on an animation to help highlight the issues homeless people face in winter. The client was happy with the work, then a note came back that the ethnic mix of the characters were wrong. These were cartoon characters. They weren't meant to be ethnically anything, but we were forced to make one of them brown, at the cost of about 10k to the charity. This is how your donations are spent. Wisely as you can see."

How has PC affected you? (Please add your own tales - not five-year-old news stories cut-and-pasted from other websites)

Summing Up...
...in the end, PC was a good idea at first but it's been mostly turned into obstructive bollocks by the ever-growing number of fucking idiots that are cluttering up the planet.

Well who'dve thought?

It's like we're not allowed to laugh at Touretters, those guys crack me up. They're like little "Father Jack"'s, the lotta them.

you just reminded me Jeccy...
In Huddersfield there was a care center that must have specialised in Tourettes.. I was ina park one day when a couple of people were being "minded" as they walked though a park occasionally coming out with some of the loudest and beautiful obscenities I'd ever heard.

As they came past us, a woman asked the carer why he wasn't keeping them quiet... He explained the disorder quickly and calmly, and explained that there was nothing that could be done. Her response? "well, Then they should never be let outside"

Never underestimate the stupidity of others. =)
