This is a question Money-saving tips

I'm broke, you're broke, we're all broke. Even the smug guy on the balcony with the croissant hasn't got two AmEx gold cards to rub together these days. Tell everybody your schemes to save cash.

Sub question
Does anyone have a cash and carry card?

When I lived abroad, we had a place called Makro near us, which I think we have in the UK now as well.

We used to buy all our bog roll, washing powder etc in bulk. It worked out half the price.

Only problem here is where to store it, as our house is small.

Makro is fucking ace
Ever wonder where Mr Singh gets the sweets for his corner shop?

Fucking Makro, that's where. Aisles dedicated to sugary awesomeness. You can buy a huge plastic sack of giant cola bottles, and yellow belly snakes.

First time I went to Makro I jizzed in my pants.

That was
so much more effective than the kind of ads they show on TV.

If Makro were allowed to tell people they'd jizz their pants, instead of how cheap and convenient they are, they'd have the market totally sewn up.

Two years ago we bought 1600 PG Tips pyramid bags in a sack from Makro
We're just about to run out

Went to a Makro once but it was located next door to an animal food factory.
Bocm Pauls if I remember right. The place stank to high heaven and made me do a little sick in the car park.

Not what is used to be
Makro was okay ~15 years ago when it was strictly for commerical only. Now, it's still good for novelty- / industrial-sized (the two best prefixes) products but isn't that as cheap.
