you've missed the point.If it costs the local charity £15 to acheive what the large one can do for 8, your £ is still doing more even though a larger proportion is spent on costs.

If you accept that the larger charity can do more with the same money, yes.
I work quite regularly with some very big global charities. I wouldn't take what you say as gospel.

I can only agree that you have a valid point All figures can be 'massaged' to meet an agenda, but it's much more difficult to alter those proportions when you're dealing with bigger numbers and there are many more people looking closely at them afterward.
