Scars with historyYou've all got scars: they're nature's little reminders not to be so damned stupid next time. My favourite is the 1/4" round hole in the back of my right hand, created when I was 7 by my best friend putting a manure-covered gardening fork "away".

back of the handI've got a lovely one on the back of my hand, been there more than 10 years... my hand was stepped on whilst playing four square with some mates, and it skidded across the pavement. ouch.
got nice and infected and took forever to finally heal. Being young then i picked at it of course, which made everything much, much worse. It's rather light now, but still apparent.
