T'is true......so then you work your socks off trying to be the best of the best, getting ahead of everyone else to prove yourself and to show that your gender really are worth it...
...then you get undermined by all the women who totally buy into the system.
I got told several times that I should just accept that men were in charge and be a happy little wifey and get married asap (the fact that I was already engaged didn't seem to count...but then it wasn't an arranged thing, which probably counted against me!)
