This is a question Tightwads

There's saving money, and there's being tight: saving money at the expense of other people, or simply for the miserly hell of it.

Tell us about measures that go beyond simple belt tightening into the realms of Mr Scrooge.

In Dublin, they give you change tickets
as Dublin Bus claim they have been robbed so many times, they just cant afford to keep change on the bus. This is obviously bullshit as people still have to pay, using you guessed it...money!

You can redeem your tickets in their one and only office in Dublin's city centre during office hours. Most people give them to charity.

I hoard them until the opportunity presents itself and usually make a pretty good haul.

I'm not tight though - it's my money.

And profligacy is expensive.
