Advice please
Womanly pains. Any women here can help? I'm looking for a satisfactory cure for em. No amount of painkillers work. It's a miscarriage, so it might all be psychological, but even still, it hurts like hell.
Tried all I've heard so far to no avail. Help, please!

a friend with bad period pains and an aversion to ibuprofen used to swear by evening primrose oil capsules,
but i have never tried them and i don't know how different a miscarriage is.
you should probably see a doctor.

One is the result of an unfertilised egg
the other is the result of a baby dying in the womb.
Miscarriages are heavier because the uterus lining is thicker

You mean, you don't like medicines that are based on modern scientific knowledge, and actually work, so you'd rather eat some manky herbs bought from an old Chinese woman because they're 'natural'?
Christ, woman, get some Solpadine Max and quit moaning!

but to see like a proper medical professional.

Head for the doctors chick
They will be able to prescribe nice strong things.
If you've already seen them todya, other things may help, but only after you've had medical attention.

If it is not so recent & bleeding has subsided you could try some arnica
to reduce internal swelling & help heal soft tissue damage, bruising etc.
But I do strongly recommend consulting your G.P or Naturopath before proceeding.
/not a woman but have lived with miscarriage thing with ex. Mrs P. Nippy is beside me confirming advice
Edit: Mrs P. Nippy own's a Natural health foods store.

you say no amount of painkillers work
but I find if you combine some paracetamol and some ibuprofen that that knocks the edge off, you also have to keep taking and get those does into in time. It is called pain management.
Also if you are cramping some gentle exercise can help like a liitle bit of yoga or walk around.
