As someone who has been aspiring to be a vet sometime in the next twelve years, I have very strong opinions about what is right and wrong when it comes to animals. For example, I think testing on animals for medical uses is all right (not necessarily a good thing), as long as it is done in a humane manner. Putting a parallel port on a cat's head is hardly 'in the name of science'. It's sadism.
