I was surprised......by how many were actually pretty enlightened, as you say. The majority in favour was far bigger than I expected. On the other hand, it was fairly unedifying to see Jill 'Section 28' Knight make an appearance, though her stance towards teh gays has mellowed: she does at least concede that we're good at antiques and artistic things...
