I can only imagine that the people who lap up the rudimentary faceswapshave never tried to do one themselves, and therefore haven't worked out how easily and how quickly it is possible to churn them out.
And also, paradoxically, just how shit most of Ninj's efforts are, even by those standards. Opposing light sources, misaligned features, desaturated to monochrome to hide the seams and (if that doesn't work) a canvas-style filter overlaid on them. It takes 3-4 minutes tops, even with GIMP.
