My Insignificant Rantings:If everyone else is throwing in their tuppence about America, WTC and Iraq, I might as well.
Firstly, WTC:
Well it was high time someone shoved American sensibilities of invincibility down their throats, and I couldn't be happier over the fact that they don't even know if they've killed Osama yet: it's V's all round in the face of the US, ironically.
Secondly, Iraq:
As much of a farce this was, at least it's put something good on the news for a change - what kind of fucking world do we live in when Michael Barrymore's failed comeback makes headline news? Justified or not, I'd much rather hear about Blair and Bush getting strung up by their bollocks for starting an unnecessary war than stupid footballers moving houses instead of pissing in cups.
Thirdly, general ramblings:
I've got nothing specific against any kind of racial or religious following at all, but I do have a problem with the people in some of these. This is a very generalised comment for which I apologise in advance, but Americans are stupid. Why everyone thought Sept 11th would never happen is beyond me - realistically it's not that unimaginable. Planes can and have been hijacked, planes hijacked or not have hit buildings. Terrorists have attacked without warning. However, because it's the US, automatically it gives them the right to go do what they want. GTA Vice City, V-Rock - some of you know what I'm talking about. This unearned arrogance makes me want to vomit.
Either way, there's nothing that can be done about any of this now, so stop fucking well harking back to it like its something that must be avenged or put right, because then hypocrisy is what's happening, not revenge.
