Not mine, but...
My aunt was quite fond of my nan and grandad (quite understandable really, they were her parents) and appears to keep talking to them despite the fact that they have been dead.
Don't worry, she's quite sane and doesn't talk to walls or empty spaces, but she's used the ouija board to talk to my dead grandad (who didn't seem particularly happy at the time, what with being dead and all). On that night, the host of the board was a friend of my aunt's boyfriend and didn't know my aunt too well. When they summoned a spirit it asked to speak to someone impeticular: my aunt. My aunt asked her boyfriend to leave the room as not to influence the board and asked my dead grandad some questions, to which she has never told anyone what she learned.
A few years later she called in a psychic.
My grandad used to fidget an awful lot (my nan's old chairs had scratches on them from when he would scratch them before he died) and couldn't keep still. My aunt had been proposed to the previous week and had kept her engagement ring out of sight of the psychic as she walked about the house. The psychic finished looking around, didn't find anything dodgy about the house and started attempting to communicate with my grandparents.
All of a sudden she began to fidget and scratch at her arms, asking if she knew anyone who fidgeted in the same manner. Naturally the answer came that my grandad would fidget in such a way. It transpires that both my grandparents were watching over my aunt and knew she was getting married. The psychic relayed the message that they were very happy at the news even though she couldn't have known that my aunt was to be wed.
You see, not all tales from beyond the grave are bad.
