didn't happen to me but happened to the GF's mother and her boyfriend
They'd gone to a gig avay from home and overnighted in your usual 'scary inn/hotel' After a few beers in the bar the barmaid let on that the room they were staying in was haunted by the ghost of a cloaked man. cue nervous giggles.
Later that night creaking noise wakes GF's mother who turns to see a cloaked figure looming towards her in the dark, her gasp wakes the boyfriend (not the sharpest tool in the box you understand) who proceeds to 'punch' the ghost. Fast forward to next day in local casualty boyfriend has broken hand in plaster from punching the edge of the wardrobe door which had swing open towards bed during night. Wardrobe door itself having swung open, as a consequence of being used to hang the GF's mother's long coat on it, lack of coat hangers you see.....
so anyone who tells you that ghosts can hurt you is lying obv....
